LIFETIME WARRANTY PLANS - MAXIMUM CARE

ELIGIBLE VEHICLES

All Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge vehicles within 48 months of the in-service date and currently having less than 36,000 miles are eligible for Lifetime Maximum Care Plans, regardless of how many owners there may have been. Excluding Viper, Sprinter, diesel equipped, some high performance vehicles and all Ram Cab/Chassis vehicles as well as vehicles used for police service, taxi, limousine, postal delivery or ambulance service.

WHEN PLAN COVERAGE STARTS AND ENDS

Lifetime Maximum Care Plans offer mechanical coverage as specified to the named original purchaser of the contract, for the lifetime of that purchaser. The plan ends upon the death of that original contract purchaser or upon the transfer or sale of the vehicle. The plan ends even if the transfer occurs by operation of law, such as to a lien holder, family member through succession, or successor business.

PERSONALIZED PLAN PROVISIONS & IDENTIFICATION CARD

Upon receipt and approval of a Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan application form, you will be mailed a Personalized Plan Provision and Identification Card. They will identify you and your vehicle to the servicing dealer as being eligible for Plan service.

TOWING ALLOWANCE

Lifetime Maximum Care Plans will pay up to $100 per repair occurrence for towing to the nearest Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, Alfa Romeo or Jeep® dealer anytime a component covered by the Plan fails, requiring the vehicle to be towed. Towing charges in excess of the amount allowed by the Plan are your responsibility.
NOTE: Towing Allowance benefits expire at 7 years or 100,000 miles whichever comes first.

FIRST DAY RENTAL

Lifetime Maximum Care Plans provides a $35 First Day Car Rental Allowance for any dealership mechanical repair or maintenance service.
NOTE: First Day Rental benefits expire at 7 years or 100,000 miles whichever comes first. Excludes bodywork.

CAR RENTAL ALLOWANCE*

Lifetime Maximum Care Plans will pay up to $35 per day ($175 maximum per occurrence) anytime a covered component described in your Plan Provision fails, causing the vehicle to be both inoperable and require overnight repairs. Car rental allowance coverage is not provided where loaner vehicle coverage is provided by the warranty or the dealer.
NOTE: Car Rental Allowance benefits expire at 7 years or 100,000 miles whichever comes first.
* The rental car must be obtained from a dealer or from a licensed rental agency. Rental coverage is subject to state and local laws and those imposed by the rental agency. Chrysler is not responsible for any refusal of a rental agency to rent a vehicle to you.

TRANSFER POLICY

Lifetime plans are not transferable.

• Maintenance services and items used in such services
• Glass, plastic lenses, key fobs
• Body and paint items, including soft trim
• Wear items such as manual clutch assembly, brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums and belts are not covered at any time
• Snow plows, winches and trailer hitches

LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY

Standard On Most 2007 - 2009 Chrysler Vehicles.

The first of its kind to be offered by any automaker. Ever. Because with this warranty, you're covered, and it lasts for as long as you own your vehicle. A Lifetime warranty provides worry-free ownership for new Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge owners.

Who Was Eligible?

You were eligible for the Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty if you were the first registered owner or lessee of certain 2006, 2007, 2008 or 2009 Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, Alfa Romeo or Jeep vehicle. Subsequent owners or lessees, even if they are within the same family or business, are not eligible. Successor business entities or persons to whom the vehicle 18 transferred by operation of law are also not eligible.

What's Covered?

The Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty covers the cost of all parts and labor needed to repair a powertrain component listed below that is defective in workmanship and materials. There is no coverage for towing in the event of disablement.

Excluded Vehicles

Sprinter vehicles, diesel equipped vehicles, all Ram Cab/Chassis vehicles, rental vehicles and government vehicles are not covered. Vehicles used as a police vehicle, taxi, limousine, postal delivery vehicle, or ambulance are not covered by the Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty.

Parts Covered

When Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty Does Not Apply

You can not be covered by The Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty if you are a second or subsequent owner of the vehicle.

Inspections

In order to maintain the Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty, the person or entity covered by the Powertrain Limited Warranty must have a powertrain inspection performed by an authorized Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep dealer once every 5 years. This inspection will be performed at no charge. The inspection must be made within sixty (60) days of each 5 year anniversary of the in-service date of the vehicle. You must have the inspection performed to continue this coverage. (The required inspections only apply to the Lifetime Powertrain warranties that came with 2007-2009 Chrysler vehicles).

What does 'lifetime' mean?

Lifetime is lifetime.
